Surroundings.

Our farmhouse is located 30 km north of Lorient, in the beautiful area called "the land of King Morvan". So we are only half an hour from the coast which offers a large selection of beaches, Larmor-Plage in Guidel-Plages and Pouldu.

The Forest Calleck (500 ha) and its pond are just 200 meters from our land, and lovers of hiking, whatever their level, will find their account. The footpaths along the valley of the Scorff, go for picnickers, fishermen and nature lovers in general.
And it also starts in January that season Canoeing when the  Scorff becomes wild and tumultuous. If you are sports, why not put you to mountain bike, or just the bike?
These roads are not reserved only for 2 missing wheels here!

Kernascléden, is located 2 miles from home. It is his church that made the reputation of the place, one of the most beautiful in Britain and his remarkable paintings of the 15th century (the "Dance of Death","hell", "the musical angels") will delight art lovers.

The recent "House of Bats" take you on an unforgettable journey with the young ladies of the night.

Or perhaps you prefer windsurfing? The beautiful Lake Priziac is just 7 km from here. Our region offers many more marked trails, allowing the practice of hiking in all its forms, whether by bike, on horseback, by foot, wagon.

In addition, we are in a region where people have relations with genuine and original nature, land, landscape, religion and party. Here, everywhere, man has left traces of its passage and its implementation. And that is why it is so much to explore both painterly as culturally:

  • At Les Halles Faouët sixteenth century, the exceptional site of St.Barbe and elegant chapel St.Fiacre and his fabulous loft.
  • A Quistinic, the renovated village of Poul Fétan us travel through time and found the actions of peasant life as they were in centuries past.
  • The neighboring towns, Langonnet, Plouray, Ploerdut, St.Tugdal, Lignol, etc. St.Yves  have in common their beautiful churches. Also the rehabilitation of rural heritage, which was very active in recent years, a direct consequence of the beautification of these once-common gray and sad.
  • More and more parks and castles open to the public. Some are already well known as Trévarez in Saint Goazec, Huelgoat and "chaos" or Tronjoly, rather than exposure to Gourin.
